Suvs Perform Well in Safety Tests

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) tests vehicles for Highway safety. In one of their latest tests, 18 SUVs were put through their paces to evaluate their side impact levels.

Out of the 18 SUVs tested, 10 of the vehicles earned a ‘good’ rating, which include – the Ford Explorer, Infiniti QX60, Lincoln Aviator, Mazda CX-9, Nissan Pathfinder, Subaru Ascent, Toyota Highlander, Volkswagen Atlas, Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport and Volkswagen ID.4, the only electric vehicle in the group.

The Buick Enclave and Chevrolet Traverse Rebel were able get an acceptable rating. While the Honda Passport, Honda Pilot, Hyundai Palisade, Jeep Wrangler 4-door, Kia Telluride and Nissan Murano snatched an acceptable ratings.
