2022 Ford Mach-E GT Review

First, there was the Mustang pony car. An all-American classic starting its journey in 1965. Rather than jumping in the deep end with a full-fat electric muscle car version of the Mustang, Ford opted to build an electric SUV carrying the Mustang name.

Fans of the Mustang in saloon form weren’t exactly enamored with the name borrowing. But, the Ford Mach-E has started to prove its worth as an electric SUV, which now comes in a GT format with almost 500HP.

Everything is essentially bigger on this version. A 91kWh battery, which should last you 310 miles. An equivalent of 487HP, with plenty of driving modes for all types of road situations. Plus, this is a sporty SUV. Thus, it has to appeal as a family carrier and to be let loose at the weekends.

This is only a short video, but it perfectly sums up the pros and cons of the 2022 Ford Mach-E GT. This leads us to the question of is this better than the competition, is this a worthy step forward to a full Mustang electric muscle car, and is it enough to make you turn electric?
