Can The 2016 Toyota RAV4 Beat The Honda CR-V?

The Toyota RAV4 has been around for many years now going from strength to strength, but also has fierce competition from the other manufacturers, which means it can never rest on its laurels.

Now Toyota want to lead the pack with the RAV4, ‘Just two years ago we sold less than 200,000 RAV4s” Cooper Ericksen, vice president-vehicle marketing and communications for Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. ‘“This year we’re on track to sell over 300,000.”’

The new MY2016 Toyota RAV4 is going to be offered in 176hp 2.5-litre petrol and 194hp Hybrid versions, with the petrol models offered both in 2WD and 4WD guises.

Both Toyota and Honda have very capable SUV’s, so only time will tell which of the vehicles and is up on top.
