2016 Range Rover Evoque Convertible SUV: First Drive Review

Not so long ago, a convertible SUV would’nt have been a great option. it’s been tried in the past by the likes of the Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet and can you even class a Jeep as an SUV convertible? Now the Range Rover guys bring you the Evoque Convertible SUV, which on first impressions seems to work great.

SUVs still have to be practical and with Range Rover’s off road history, it has to fit this bill as well.
The video was shot at a ski course, showing the Evoque can handle any terrain, meaning the Evoque Convertible isn’t a grocery getter, but a serious vehicle now in convertible format.

The best thing here is the looks of the Evoque Convertible. From a distance, it is almost like a compact convertible in design, with both the roof up and down.
All features are taken from a UK standpoint, but we will see how the engine variations and the rest stand up on US shores.
