Jeep CEO Confirms Grand Cherokee Hellcat

By  |

Confirmed at the 2016 North American International Auto Show, Detroit, Mike Manley, Jeep Brand CEO confirmed that A Grand Cherokee Hellcat will be built before 2017.

This is great news for those who want more performance from their Grand Cherokee and with the success of the Dodge Charger Hellcat and Dodge Challenger Hellcat, this should be one special vehicle.

Both current Hellcat versions have a 6.2 L V8 engine producing 707 brake horsepower and 881 Nm of torque, running through an eight speed automatic or manual transmission. both good for 0-100kmph in 3.6 seconds.
If the same powerplant is transported to a SUV/truck model directly, is unsure at this point, but all we can say is that if it makes the same kind of noise as the Hellcat did when first released, it should be exciting times ahead.
