Well, this is something you don’t see every day.
Land Rover wanted to show off the pulling power of the discovery sport, so why not have the SUV pulling three train carriages for 6.2 miles in Switzerland.

The 2 L diesel engine produces 177HP and 317 lb ft of torque, with the only modifications being set of rail wheels, so the Land Rover could go on rails.

“Over the years, we have introduced game-changing towing technologies to take the stress out of towing for our customers,” said Karl Richards, Lead Engineer for Stability Control Systems at JLR. “I’ve spent most of my career travelling to the most punishing parts of the world to test Land Rovers in grueling conditions, yet this is the most extreme towing test I’ve ever done.”

We just wonder what a Ford Raptor could have done in the same situation.
