1985 AM General Slantback HMMWV M998.
Great condition and great looking.
This truck was one of the original HMMWVs that were sold to the general public and is legal to own and operate on the road. The vehicle is titled, plated, and has passed emissions.
It has been meticulously maintained and only military grade replacement parts have been used throughout its life for all mechanical fixes.
It has a high grade black paint job with matching interior. Parts have been replaced over the years but recent work has been: (new power steering and steering gear, all new fuel delivery from hoses, pump, filter, injector pump, injectors, and new glow plugs. A compression test was performed on the engine while the injectors were off and all 8 cylinders performed like new. There are no current mechanical needs. This truck is ready to go.
